DB Schenker Class 60 No. 60001 departs Peak Forest with the 6J46 09:54 Peak Forest Cemex Sidings to Hope St. Peakstone Sidings loaded stone train on 28th August 2014. 60001 was the first of 100 Class 60 locomotives built by Brush Traction in Loughborough between 1989 and 1993 for British Rail's Trainload Freight sector. It was stored by EWS in 2006 following an engine failure but was overhauled and returned to service for DB Schenker in 2013 as part of their "Super 60" rebuild program.
